When to Send What!

When it comes to sending out your invitations, it can be confusing to know what you should be doing and when. How do we know? Because of the amount of brides we see who start the search for their stationery too late! But even if you have left it to the last minute, don't worry, just contact us now to see if we still have time to make your order, we will do our best. To avoid putting us and yourself under pressure, here is a simple guide to put in your diary.

1 year before

Order, approve and send your Save the Date Cards. You can send these anytime up to 1 year in advance of the wedding. Most brides don't actually send these and wait for the next step.

6 months before the Wedding

Begin to think about the design you might like for your wedding, check out all our designs and order samples.

5 months before the Wedding

Get a grip on your guest list so you have a rough idea of how many invites you will need. If you need help working out the costs, email us with what you want and we will send you back a quote.

4 months before the Wedding (at the latest)

Make your final decision and order what you want. You will receive your first proofs and you will spend a week or two making revisions. At this point you will be concentrating on your Day & Evening Invitations, Reply Cards and any Information Cards.

3 months before the Wedding (at the very latest)

Hit the 'Approve' button and we will go ahead and print your invitations etc.

2 months before the Wedding

Receive delivery of your stationery and post them out your guests. The excitement begins!

If you have ordered Ceremony Booklets, you need to submit the text to us. You will receive your first proof and you will spend a week or two making revisions.

If you have ordered menus, please send us the text now. You will receive your first proof and you will spend a week or two making revisions.

6 weeks before the Wedding

Hit the 'Approve' button and we will go ahead and print your booklets and/or menus.

4 weeks before the Wedding

Your R.S.V.P. cards should all be back by now!

If you have ordered a Table Plan Pack or Printed Place Cards, you need to supply us with the list of names now, there is no proof involved, we will go straight ahead and print them.

2 weeks before the Wedding

Receive delivery of your Ceremony Booklets, Menus, Place Cards or Table Plan Pack

1 week before the Wedding

Relax!

After the Wedding

If you haven't already ordered Thank You Cards, you should do that now, thank you cards should be sent promptly!
